Leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Sergey Stanishev vowed immediate start of consultations on a no-confidence vote for the GERB cabinet, thus upping prospects for an interesting new political season this fall.

This statement comes after co-leaders Ivan Kostov and Martin Dimitrov of rightist Blue Coalition, which has consistently supported the government, made scathing criticism of GERB’s economic policy Monday and Tuesday.

The socialist leader said his party will have consultations with all parties that do not support the cabinet, without specifying names.
