Bulgaria and Romania should be allowed to join the Schengen Agreement, Danish Justice Minister Morten Boedskov has declared.

“There are no obstacles to Romania and Bulgaria joining the Schengen system,” Boedskov told a news conference at a meeting of EU justice and police ministers in Copenhagen.

Thus, Boedskov reiterated the Danish EU presidency for the two Balkan states’ efforts to join the bloc’s border-free zone.
