Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov is now officially part of French Monaco FC team, after a brief uneventful stint in England’s Fulham.

“I am very pleased and excited, but at the same time a little bit nervous,” were Berbatov’s first words for the Monaco website.

“I am very impatient to begin training with my new teammates and to begin this new episode of my career,” added he.

Berbatov is loaned from Fulham to Monaco until the end of the current season.

BBC commented that rarely do a football side and player fit so well with each other.

At Monaco, Berbatov will replace injured Colombian forward Radamel Falcao.
